Juneau’s Jaden Hardiman and Bay View’s Darryl Cooks Named MCC Student-Athletes of the Week (Dec. 15)
Jaden Hardiman (Juneau High School) and Darryl Cooks (Bay View High School) were named the Milwaukee City Conference Student-Athletes of the Week for the week of Dec. 7-13.
Hardiman dominated offensively for Juneau, starting with 37 points and three assists against Whitnall on Dec. 9 while shooting 88 percent from the field. The senior continued his hot streak later in the week with 20 points, three rebounds and four assists in an 84-60 win over Rufus King.
Cooks was on fire for Bay View, scoring 27 points against Pulaski on a perfect 11-11 shooting, including four three-pointers. He capped off his week with 39 points against Golda Meir in the Ron Glaser Classic tournament, leading the Redcats to an 85-77 victory. Bay View improved to 4-1 on the season.
